| Troubleshooting |
| 1. The TouchMe keyboard for Palm OS is active, but it never appears on the screen?!? |
There are certain conditions to be met:
- There should be an active text field – a text field with blinking input caret. This is required by Palm OS – it needs to know where exactly you intend to write your text.
- You need to "ask for keyboard" – to tap any of the icons or Silkscreen areas that pop-up the built-in keyboard or to select a menu item like "Edit -> Keyboard".
|
| 2. I do everything right but the built-in keyboard appears instead of TouchMe. |
On a number of Palm OS devices the keyboard icons do not follow the Palm OS rules and directly start exactly the built-in keyboard, never giving a chance to a keyboard replacement to appear.
The solution is to start TouchMe as a regular application and to make sure that the second configuration button is set to "ON".
Next, when you need TouchMe, you’ll "ask for it" by pressing the "Left" direction on the 5Way Navigator. You still need to have a text field with blinking input caret!
